After his graduation, Moshe studied printing in his hometown. He was a member of “Hehalutz”. In 1942 he moved to Budapest where he earned his living in a print shop. In 1943 he was drafted into a forced labor unit, from which he managed to escape in 1944. Moshe joined his “Dror Habonim” comrades in the underground and hid in a bunker on Hungaria  oulevard. He was one of the editors of the Zionist Movement underground newspaper. The bunker was discovered and all its inhabitants were taken to the central military prison on Margit Boulevard, where they were tortured. In December 1944, members of the underground rescued them in a daring operation. Moshe made aliya illegally, via Cyprus. Upon arriving in Israel, he joined the Israeli army. Moshe worked in the Absorption Department of the Jewish Agency. He is the author and publisher of They Fought Alone (280 pages), in Hebrew. 1992.
